Please let us know of companies that should be registered under WEEE
Are your competitors stealing an advantage over you by not complying with this legislation? Maybe you have a supplier to your company that is not registered so you cannot get your WEEE collected free of charge?
If you tell us about these companies, we can ensure that they will have to fulfil their legal requirements – and they will not know how we knew.
B2B Compliance’s procedure is to contact the Producer directly, to discuss their legal WEEE requirements and, where they are obligated, encourage them to join the B2B Compliance scheme. The WEEE Regulations are a very complicated piece of legislation, and many Producers are still confused about their legal obligations.
If they are not interested in joining B2B Compliance, we will recommend that they should determine an alternative scheme. We will also notify them that B2B Compliance has an obligation to advise the Authorities that we have informed them of the WEEE requirements. The Authorities are chasing up such contacts to ensure that such producers are registering correctly.
This facility is in keeping with the ethos of B2B Compliance as it is a low cost method of both protecting our Members’ interests (ensuring that they operate on a level playing field with their competitors) and enhancing the existing membership of B2B Compliance thereby ensuring costs are kept to a minimum.
Please fill out the form below to send us details of any companies you think ought to be registered under WEEE. We need at least the company name, but an idea of their address and/or any pertinent person within the company would also be helpful to us when encouraging them to join.
