In light of some recommendations made by the parliamentary joint committee on statutory instruments an amendment to the WEEE Regulations 2013 has been published. These amendments are necessary to rectify some drafting errors in the original piece of legislation. These amendments did not go out for consultation as the substance of the regulations remain the same and will not change the way producers will need to comply with the regulations.
