Thank you to everyone that made it to our first WEEE compliance seminar last week! The day was themed to cover the current regulations we are working with at the moment, in the morning, with the afternoon covering the changes and the movements in the legislation that will be impacting producers.
Thank you very much to our guest speakers – we were lucky enough to hear from Andy Evans, technical director at GAMBICA, who talked to us about the role GAMBICA play within the instrumentation and control industry, and how B2B Compliance was formed to protect the interests of B2B producers.
We were also pleased to welcome Dr Alex Martin from RINA Consulting, who gave a very detailed and informative update to the RoHS and REACH regulations, as well as information on the UK Modern Slavery Act and Conflict Minerals.
Following the great feedback we have received, we will be planning a number of webinars over the summer to continue giving support in the topics that were discussed during the day, namely WEEE training and scoping of EEE, International Compliance and RoHS and REACH training.
